The Window with the Light

 The Window with the Light

In a small village there was a boy named Noor who lived in a dark house. When he was younger, his parents had passed away, and he lived alone with some food, no power and any smiles.

Every night he stared at his window at a bright house on the ground. There was always a glowing light in the window, laughter and summer. He imagined a happy family inside, ate together, played games and stories.

A rainy night, the light did not turn on the house on the ground.

Concerned, Noor climbed up the hill. He knocked gently on the door. An old woman opened it, surprised.

"You're ok?" He asked in shame. "I didn't see your light."

The woman smiled politely. "The storm knocked on my power," he said. "But no one has ever seen before."

Noor looked down. “I noticed. Your light helped me feel less alone.”

She invited him in

From that night the light came back - but now it shone in both houses.
