The Story of the Seven Woodcutter Daughters

The Story of the Seven Woodcutter Daughters

In a small village near a large forest, there once lived a poor woodcutter with his seven daughters. The girls were kind-hearted and always helped their father. After their mother passed away, the woodcutter married another woman, who was cold and cruel.

The stepmother disliked the girls and saw them as a burden. She began to secretly plan to get rid of them.

One day, she said to the woodcutter:
"We don’t have enough food for everyone. Take the girls into the forest and leave them there."

The father was sad, but he obeyed her. The next morning, he led his seven daughters deep into the forest. The youngest girl was clever and left small stone marks along the way to find their path back.

Later, the girls found their way home, but the stepmother became angry and planned again. This time, the girls got lost in the forest.

Deep inside the forest, they found a strange hut near a mountain. A terrifying mountain ogress lived there, pretending to be kind but hiding evil intentions.

At night, a mysterious dervish appeared. He promised to help them escape, but he was not as honest as he seemed.

In the end, the girls managed to escape and return safely home. The woodcutter realized the truth about his wife and sent her away.

The girls learned an important lesson: courage, unity, and intelligence can overcome any danger.
